NIAS Director in Demand for Commentary on Thai Election

NIAS Director Duncan McCargo, a leading expert on the politics of Thailand, is just back from Bangkok where he was observing the recent elections. He has been in great demand as a media commentator this week, giving an interview with Times Radio (UK) on 14 May, and later appearing on Singapore’s Channel News Asia (who also screened a series of his campaign photographs) (watch the interview here), publishing an op-ed with Nikkei Asia (to the op-ed), and finally being quoted in the New York Times on 19 May, discussing Move Forward leader Pita Limjaroenrat (to the article).
