Andreas Bøje Forsby is an International Relations (IR) scholar who works on China’s foreign and security policy. While his PhD dissertation investigated how China’s identity shapes its grand strategy in the 21st century, his current research covers a broader range of topics, including Danish-Chinese relations; Nordic/European approaches to the rise of China; the US-China great power rivalry; the maritime conflicts in the South China Sea; and China’s identity and emotional assertiveness.
