The NIAS Library and Information Centre (NIAS LINC) is a specialised digital library servicing the Nordic Asian studies community.

We provide a unique service to researchers and students through our online information resources and research dissemination platforms. NIAS LINC works closely together with the libraries of the NNC institutions and with location at the CSS campus with the Faculty Library of Social Sciences of Copenhagen University closeby we have access to one of the largest collection of books and journals on modern Asia in the Nordic region. NIAS book collection has now a part of the collections of the Copenhagen University Library and available for interlibrary loans via the Royal Library/University Library.

Resources

NIAS Library is since 2014 a strictly digital library focusing on providing access to information on Modern Asia and mainly within the social sciences, for the Nordic community. All of our resources are available via the AsiaPortal and consists of databases, newspapers, e-books and online journals. The Asiaportal also provides news and events from the Nordic region, as well as access to AsiainFocus, a Nordic Journal on Asia by early career researchers.

By providing online information combined with reference, guidance and instruction by qualified staff, NIAS LINC is an important node in the Asia research field for Nordic scholars.
